How to Make a Chinese Herbal Tea for Clearing Heat, Moisturizing Lungs, and Dispelling Toxicity
Tea Name: Qi Replenishing Tea to help with Fatigue and Calm the Spirit
Traditional Chinese Name: 清熱茶 (qīng rè chá). The direct translation is very simple for this because I didn’t know how to directly translate something this, but “clear heat tea” is the base for this tea.
Nature: Cooling in nature as to dispel heat (wind-heat) from the body.

I had such a heart-warming message come in last night requesting something to help with the hot and toxic air quality in and around the LA area where the fire is burning this year (early 2025).
This is really something I can help with and will continue to make suggestions on teas and soups, although for quick, effective, and daily recipes, I would suggest teas. They are easy to make, can be stored in the fridge for a few days, and suitable for any time of the tea (not just as a soup for dinner).
Let’s start with this heat and toxicity clearing tea that is perfect for dispelling wind-heat and helps moisturize the lungs and throat. You can use any of these ingredients to mix and match in any soup or tea!
